My musher life began in 1980 with a Sibirian husky, black and white, of
course, and with blue eyes. I gave this dog, called Aski, as a present
to my wife Renate for her birthday.
It
remained, of course, not the only one. Soon there were 7 huskies and
because of the well-known circumstances (law, barking and smell) we
moved from our wonderful house in Duisburg to the countryside to
Borken.

Over the years we and our dogs reached a top position also here, and we hope this will still go on.
When reviewing my life I would not like to miss the sled-dog-sport.

Aski, our first,
born on 1980-02-13,
died on 1997-03-05.
It's already long time ago.
After having won nearly all you could win we got the first Alaskans in 1993.
We needed a new challenge and the permanent dispute pure-bred and right papers was really annoying at that time.
